The 2021 Red-Tailed Hawk Invitational concluded on Saturday in spectacular fashion at Toqua Golf Club!
After completing the final 9-hole match, flight winning teams as well as three wild cards competed in three tee groups in a Shootout at Toqua Golf Club. They played holes ten, eleven, twelve and eighteen in an elimination-style format. The three winning teams from each tee group played hole nine for the overall championship:
Jeff Klatt & Bob McGreal (Hogan Flight)
Jed Ellis & James Ellis (Nelson Flight)
Steve Mayberry & James Carter (Mickelson Flight)
The teams played hole 9 and winning with a great par was the team of Ellis & Ellis to capture the 2021 Red-Tailed Hawk Invitational Championship. Congratulations gentlemen!
Our golf course superintendents Wells McClure (Tanasi), Jordan Clark (Kahite) and Tyler Thies & Jon North (Toqua) and their teams deserve a very special thanks for the superb golf course conditions that were enjoyed by competitors.
