Only 9 spots left for Member/Member. Don’t miss out on a fun weekend of golf. The event will be Saturday, September 26th and Sunday, September 27th at Toqua and Kahite. To maintain social distancing and limit gatherings, we will not be having the Friday night party or lunches after play, but there will be beer served after play. The Toqua pavilion and patio at Kahite will be set up where you can sit with your foursome, enjoy a cold beer and chat while maintaining safe social distance.
To play, you must be a MGA member and the maximum handicap index difference is 15-strokes between you and your partner. If there is a greater difference, the higher handicap will be reduced. With no food service and just golf, the cost of the event has been lowered to $50 a player (check made out to TVPOA), excluding green and cart fees. All sign ups are done at Toqua and teams will need to pay in full to be eligible. If one partner brings a check we will hold it till the other guy brings his. Please be prepared to pay the full amount at sign up.
What does your entry fee get you? You will receive a tee gift valued at $50, FREE BEER both days and prizes for the winners in each flight. In addition to the tee gift and FREE BEER: the tournament prize pool is $8,000!!! The winning teams in each flight can triple their entry fee. WOW!!
The format is a two-person best ball (net score) using 85% of your handicap as of September 18th. Players can choose to play from the white or orange tees and each day has a shotgun start at 9:00 am. Also an optional skins game for $5 a day.
